“All Children Are Artists” – Pablo Picasso

We are constantly amazed by what children are capable of. Although we know that young children are highly capable in all areas it continues to amaze us how skillful young children are and what they can achieve if they are provided the stimulation and motivation.

Ray and the staff team have been talking about creating some murals on the kindy building walls in the Ninna Marni garden. On Friday Ray worked with a group of children to start thinking and planning what these murals might represent. Ray and the children were keen to represent the biodiversity of the natural surroundings so they observed what they could see in the garden and then decided to capture their observations through drawing.

Wow! What inspired art work. Pablo Picasso knew what he was talking about when he said, “All children are artists”. We have some amazing artists in our community. We cannot wait to see what the murals look like when they are completed. Congratulations Elliot, Jazzmin, Zoe, Jessica, Antonia, Carmina and Ray. You should feel so proud of the effort you put into your work on Friday. We think you have done brilliant work.
